Delta
is located 20 minutes North of Montrose along Highway 50 and about
40 Minutes south of Grand Junction on the new four lane Hwy 50.
In the last 10 years, Delta Colorado's Population has grown over
50%. Delta Colorado median household Income is over $40,500. The
city of Delta is home to approximately 6,500 residents. Another
4,800 can be found within five to 7 miles. Delta County has a population
of approximately 6,700. In 2003 retail sales jumped 24 million(from
2002) to a total of 210 million.
Single family rental rates are currently rising, the average is
around $700-$800 for a 3B/2bth and $600 for a 2B/1bth. Apartment
rental rates are around $350 for a one bedroom and $450 for a two
bedroom.
